5/23/2023 0 Comments Wing clmax from airfoil![]() The white foam I used for the LE had enough sweep (boomerang shape)to hold flat and stable to the table, where I glued it to the bottom foam sheet section. I then used foam sheet and cut the bottom out in one part. I did this on the top and bottom of the wing, then I cut off the trailing side of the wing, leaving me only the spar slot forward section. Then I ran my dremel router along the marks with a guide to create what looks like spar slots at the depth of 5 mm foam sheet. I made marks from root to tip at the thickest part of the airfoil. It turned out to be a fantastic design.įirst I cut the wing in half and set the sweep angle deeper, similar to a stryler's LE sweep angle. ![]() I did one similar to your description with a wing that got it's trailing edge chewed up by another flying wings prop. I do not know the optimum airfoil selection for a delta design. I would call a delta a variant of a flying wing.
